A growing education technology company in Malaysia engaged Business Agility Tune Up (BAT) as a trusted third-party business analysis and facilitation partner during a critical product ideation and design phase. The project was part of a larger digital transformation initiative led by an implementation vendor, with BAT joining to bridge the gap between stakeholders and actionable product requirements.

Our engagement began by conducting a series of interactive, remote workshops using tools like MIRO and Jamboard to elicit requirements from a wide spectrum of stakeholders—from curriculum designers to tech leads. Leveraging facilitation techniques such as Affinity Mapping, Dot Voting, and Impact-Effort Matrices, we helped the group rapidly surface and converge on core needs, priorities, and constraints.

As part of our BAaaS offering, we performed a benchmarking and market analysis, comparing current EdTech platforms and identifying gaps between existing market offerings and the client’s specific goals. This research informed a targeted feature roadmap, balancing short-term value with long-term differentiation.

Our team then translated these insights into a clear and actionable backlog, drafting user stories with detailed acceptance criteria to guide the design and development phases.
